"I don't think people are going to hold Joe Biden responsible for [Republican Senate leader] Mitch McConnell's errors and mistakes," said Isaac Wright, a Democratic strategist at political consultancy FSSG. "He is doing what is natural to him, and he is speaking from the heart."
Gratitude, four times over
If good things come in threes, four might be even better.
At last week’s virtual ceremony hosted by the American Association of Political Consultants, our team was honored to receive four Pollie Awards.
As “the Oscars of politics,” what makes the Pollie Awards so special is that they’re judged by our peers, including many of the top consultants working in campaigns today. So to receive four Pollies, and to win for the fourth year in a row, is both humbling and an enormous honor.
Three of these awards recognized our groundbreaking work with the Rural Voter Institute, and the fourth honored our work in public affairs and advocacy to protect our rights in the civil justice system.

How do we advance the conversation on America's gun violence crisis?
We need more productive conversations like this one if we are to find serious solutions to the gun violence epidemic while both honoring the rights of law-abiding, responsible firearms owners and stopping the mass proliferation of weapons of war amidst our communities.
Working together
Mitch McConnell was a willing participant for four years [in Trump's chaos] ... but the bigger thing is we shouldn't be pointing blame. We should be working together to try to move the country forward in the middle of a pandemic. That's what Democrats have an open hand out to do right now."
A different kind of vibe under the Biden administration
People "are not waking up to that dread of what are they going to read in the newspaper. What did Trump say in the news cycle? What international jeopardy has he put our country in? People are breathing a sigh of relief to know the country is in stable leadership again."
